New or returning students to Rockford Iqra School must take a placement exam. Students in grades 2 and above are given a written test that covers math, reading comprehension, and writing. While we suggest setting aside 2 hours for the exam, some students may take more or less time. A fee of $50.00 is charged for each exam. Please sign up for a time slot by clicking the link below. When arriving for your scheduled exam, please bring the following:

• Previous grade report card (Grades 1-12)

• A copy of the birth certificate (Pre-K/Kindergarten and Homeschooled Students)

• If your child is homeschooled, please bring a curriculum and/or course materials. 

Pre-K through 1st grade does not have a written exam. Instead, students meet with their homeroom teachers to ensure that they are capable of meeting the academic and social requirements for their grade level.
